Govt. Degree College, Bharmour

In compliance to the Orders of the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Himachal Pradesh, a Road Safety Club was constituted in the Government College, Theog on 18.12.2021. The main aim for the formation of the Club was to enhance the awareness about various issues of road safety among students so as to minimize accidents and loss of life on account of road accidents. Also, the students who learn about various aspects of road safety are expected to make others aware about the importance of road safety so that the message can be spread in all walks of life. In this way everybody will make road safety and its various rules a way of life.

The College has constituted a Road Safety Club so as to make students aware about the road safety issues at an early age.

The Club conducts various activities including:

• Organising competitions of painting, slogan writing, declamation and skit etc. on road safety themes.
• Conducting training camps/programmes to promote road safety.
• Designing high quality road safety awareness wall calendars to be hanged in class rooms.
• Printing of attractive road safety materials including booklets, dairies, scales etc.
• Distributing awareness material to students.
